Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the month-end close process within established deadlines.
  • Review and analyze financial statements for multiple locations, identifying variances and ensuring accuracy.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and payment timeliness.
  • Monitor general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and support location-level audits.
  • Prepare and file sales tax, use tax, and 1099 forms for assigned locations.
  • Support the preparation of external audit materials and collaborate with auditors.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting workflows.
  • Set up accounting systems and processes for new restaurant openings.
  • Review and approve corporate credit card expense reports.
  • Manage weekly and monthly financial reporting for executive leadership.
  • Lead quarterly budget updates and assist with the annual budget process.
  • Mentor and guide the accounting team, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–5 years of accounting management experience in hospitality, multi-location retail, or restaurant operations.
  • CPA designation preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with GAAP and experience supporting external audits.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Restaurant365 or similar ERP/accounting software strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
