This company helps other businesses and wealthy individuals manage their operations around the world. It sets up companies, handles paperwork, makes sure everything follows local laws, and takes care of taxes and accounting.

* Built and managed the finance and accounting function for 50+ legal entities investing in solar, wind and biomass energies and asset management companies (major responsibilities are supervision of team members, management of financial planning process, review of payments, monthly journal entries and financial statements, quarterly IFRS financial statements, handling of funding, distributions, annual financial audit, tax filing, reporting to the headquarters in Singapore and arrangements of debt financing from external lenders and reporting to the lenders).
* Managed the financial planning process by working with each business unit, preparing budget and forecast and analyzing the variance on a monthly basis and reporting to the headquarters in Singapore.
* Startup a finance team and implemented an accounting software in-house, transferring bookkeeping work from an external accounting service provider to the internal finance team.
* Contributed to the startup of the accounting function of Real Estate Opportunity Fund, including enhancement of bookkeeping and investor reporting process of approximately 50 Special Purpose Companies (SPCs) in Japan (major responsibilities are review of financial statements on monthly, quarterly and annual bases, handling of audit, support of local and US tax filings, communication to the fund headquarters in Singapore for bookkeeping and quarterly investor reporting, and control of distribution process).
* Improved the audit process to finish it early in cooperation with external accounting service providers, including GAAP conversion from J-GAAP to IFRS.
* Consolidated real estate SPCs' financial statements on a timely basis including GAAP conversion from J-GAAP to US GAAP.
