Company Profile

• Founded in 2007, this Tokyo-based company imports and exports specialty chemicals for industries like healthcare, plastics, and construction. It also provides services such as blending and operates under ISO 9001 certification.

The Role

• Record and reconcile daily bank transactions in ERP systems.
• Support cashflow management and reporting.
• Process sales slips and sales orders in ERP.
• Post purchase and sales invoices weekly.
• Prepare and distribute weekly transaction and outstanding sales order (SOR) reports.
• Send monthly sales slip reminder emails and FX rate updates to the Japan sales team.
• Manage expenses and petty cash postings.
• Perform month-end reconciliations and assist with other closing tasks.
• Support debtor and creditor account allocations.
• Provide assistance and backup support to the Japan Finance team.
• Handle additional ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Japan Accountant or Financial Controller.

Your Skills

• Proficient in English (required)
• Advanced Excel skills (required)
• Bookkeeping knowledge (Nissho Boki Level 2 or equivalent experience)
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (preferred)
