Job Responsibilities
Data Consulting
- Provide expert data consulting services to clients, focusing on data strategy, architecture, and management.
- Analyze client data needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Advise on best practices for data storage, processing, and utilization to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with data science and technical teams to implement data solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Business Case Development
- Develop comprehensive business cases to support data-related initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and ROI assessments to demonstrate the value of proposed data solutions.
- Prepare detailed financial projections and models to facilitate decision-making by executive management.
Storytelling for Executive Management
- Translate complex data concepts into clear and compelling narratives for executive stakeholders.
- Present data insights and recommendations in a manner that is easily understood by non-technical audiences.
- Create persuasive presentations and reports that highlight the strategic importance of data initiatives..
Job Qualification:
- 8+ years of experience
- MBA or other Advanced degrees in Engineering or Science
- Brilliant communicator with strong oral, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to guide group discussions and explain complex solutions
- Proven experience as a Business Data Consultant or in a similar techno-functional consulting role.
- Strong understanding of data strategy, architecture, management, and governance principles Solution mindset – a willingness to uncover solutions to challenges
- Strong analytical and process-based skills (e.g. process flow diagrams, business and process modelling, data analysis, etc.)
- Manufacturing industry experience. Experience in one or more of the following business functions Engineering, Production, Supply chain, Aftermarket, is desired
- Candidate having Big 4 experience will have preference
Language Skills: Business level Japanese (N2 and above) and Business level English
