Call Center Representative (Government)
A government institution is seeking five (5) professionals to provide courteous, timely, and accurate information to Albertans via phone and email. These individuals will handle inquiries about various government programs, offer guidance, resolve problems, and refer individuals to the appropriate government departments and external agencies.
What is in it for you:
• Hourly salary of $28 to $30, based on experience.
• 6-month job assignment
• Full-time position: 36.25 hours per week.
• Standard hours of work are 8:15 am to 4:30 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Required to be flexible and available for the potential of 24/7 shift work. This includes and is not limited to days, evenings, weekends, provincial/federal holidays, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure clients understand requirements and information to help them achieve their objectives.
• Maintain professionalism while handling a range of caller issues and behaviors.
• Provide appropriate referrals to municipal, provincial, or federal government departments, agencies, registries, courts, law enforcement, and legal counsel when inquiries fall outside the assigned mandate.
• Accurately log client interactions in ServiceNow for reporting and statistical purposes.
• Adapt to program changes and an evolving environment with agility.
What you will need to succeed:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role interacting with clients.
• 1 year of experience creating and using advanced Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) (nice to have).
• 1 year of experience using Microsoft SharePoint (nice to have).
• 1 year of experience with ServiceNow (nice to have).
• 1 year of experience using CXone (nice to have).
