As a Cash Equity Middle office - Associate within Market Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless trade operations and client satisfaction. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of our global equity operations, providing you with the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and develop your expertise in a fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities 

• Play a crucial role in ensuring seamless trade operations and client satisfaction
• Provide exceptional client services with accurate and timely trade allocation and pre-confirmations 
• Manage post-trade activities for timely pre-matching and smooth settlement 
• Oversee collateral management for Stock Borrow Loan (SBL) 
• Address and fulfill client requests and requirements 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement internal synergies 
• Promote process improvement initiatives and strategic digital solutions 
• Lead projects related to end-to-end reviews, efficiency realization, and new initiatives on local, regional, and global scales

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience in Japanese Equities Operations at domestic or foreign securities firms
• Strong motivation, enthusiasm, and work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with middle office members, front office, clients, and key organizational functions
• JSDA 1st and 2nd class Sales Representative license
• Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Familiarity with digital tools such as RPA and Alteryx
