Family Service Nova Scotia (FSNS) is a community-based provincial organization that has been offering a wide variety of programs and services to Nova Scotians since 1969. Supporting our service users is at the centre of everything we do!
FSNS continuously adapts to meet service user needs through collaboration with funding and community partners. We provide services for individuals, families, and communities across Nova Scotia, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment.
We employ a person-centred approach, treating each service user uniquely and working together to achieve personal goals. A trauma-informed approach is integrated into all operations, respecting service users' experiences and resilience.

POSITION: Clinical Consultant
LOCATION: Halifax, Nova Scotia
QUALIFICATIONS: We are seeking a licensed Master of Social Work (MSW) professional with experience in reflective supervision, adult learning, and collaborative practice. Experience working with families and front-line service providers in community-based settings is strongly preferred. This is a full-time, permanent position.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Clinical Consultant is responsible for providing consultation, reflective supervision, and professional development support to Parenting Journey staff across Nova Scotia through the Clinical Consultation Network (CCN).

The Clinical Consultant must demonstrate strong facilitation and relationship-building skills, and a commitment to equity and inclusion is essential. Flexible hours and regional travel are required.
