About the Role

• A global leader in health, wellness, and lifestyle products is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support its Japan operations. This role plays a key part in driving strategic financial planning, supporting commercial teams, and delivering actionable insights to optimize business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to provide financial analysis and support
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
• Analyze pricing, promotions, and product profitability
• Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for senior management
• Identify trends and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
• Support ad-hoc analysis and business cases for new initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
• Fluent in Japanese and English (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer goods industry is a plus
