Director of Procurement - IT

$140,000 - $150,000 + benefits
We are recruiting for a Director of Procurement for our large, well-known client. They are seeking a smart dynamic IT Procurement Professional to help develop a contract framework for their IT vendor negotiations and guide the business through both commercial opportunities and potential risk areas. This is a leadership role where you will manage a small team of IT purchasing specialists who work with the business and advise them on SaaS and Enterprise Software deals. Your role will be to develop the department and also take on the biggest or higher risk deals.
The successful candidate will be an IT Procurement leader who is an expert in Software Contracts. You will be able to identify and articulate all the key areas of an IT contract that need to be addressed from a commercial and a risk point of view and be able to add wording to ensure the company has the most favorable terms. You will have experience of directly leading a team and developing the skillset and processes of the department to deliver a first class Procurement offering to your stakeholders.
