We’re on the lookout for a proactive and people-focused Field Recruiter to join our client’s team in West Edmonton . This is a temporary, full-time role based 100% in office , starting as soon as possible , with the potential to extend. The Opportunity

As the Field Recruiter, you will be a key contributor to the hiring of hourly roles across the organization. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will take ownership of full-cycle recruitment , ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively sourcing candidates through multiple channels including job boards, networking, cold calling, and social platforms.
• Screening applications and conducting interviews to evaluate fit.
• Managing job offers.
• Building strong relationships with candidates and internal teams to keep communication clear and timely.
• Tracking and updating recruitment activity using internal applicant tracking systems.
• Partnering with coordinators to keep the hiring process moving efficiently.
• Staying current on job requirements and team needs to align your hiring strategy accordingly.
• Providing regular updates and insights to leadership on recruiting progress and pipeline status.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma is required; post-secondary education or an RPR designation is a bonus.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing the full recruitment cycle in a high volume desk.
• Experience using iCIMS (Applicant Tracking System) strong asset.
• Strong preferen ce for candidates with background in construction or heavy civil industry recruitment (project based work).
• Working knowledge of Canadian hiring practices and employment standards.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, to provide professional and knowledgeable support.
