• Head of Accounting - Hotel Division

Position Summary:

• We are hiring an accomplished and strategic Director of Accounting to steer the financial and accounting functions of our hotel business. This leadership role involves managing all accounting processes, guaranteeing the accuracy of financial data, and driving key business decisions through detailed financial analysis. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in hospitality finance and exhibit a forward-thinking and results-driven approach to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and evaluate financial reports, including income statements (P&L), balance sheets (B/S), and cash flow statements (CF).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.
• Ensure adherence to tax laws and liaise with external auditors.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flow, and handle bank reconciliations.
• Partner with department leaders to optimize profitability and enhance cost efficiency.
• Administer OTA settlements, credit card reconciliations, and payments to travel agencies.
• Guide and develop the accounting team, refining workflows and strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in hotel or hospitality accounting, with a minimum of 5-7 years in the field (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).
• Solid understanding of Japanese accounting principles and tax compliance requirements (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).
• Expertise in utilizing accounting software and advanced Excel functionalities (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese, English, and preferred fluency in Chinese (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).
• CPA or an equivalent professional certification is considered an added advantage (Source: SG25 US Finance and Accounting.doc).

Compensation Annual salary:

• ¥8,000,000 - ¥9,000,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
