An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join an industry leader!
Your New Company
Join a leading multidisciplinary design and construction firm that’s redefining how buildings are imagined and delivered. With a culture built on innovation, collaboration, and personal growth, this team offers more than just a job—it’s a place to thrive. Located in downtown Vancouver, the open-concept office encourages creativity and connection, while flexible hours and wellness initiatives support a balanced lifestyle. From continuing education and mentorship to global volunteer programs and sustainability efforts, this company is deeply committed to making a positive impact—on its people and the world. Regular social events, like BBQs and hiking trips, keep the vibe fun and community-driven.
Your New Role:
As a Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager, you’ll lead diverse projects focused on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You’ll take designs from concept to completion, manage client relationships, and ensure smooth project delivery. You’ll also support construction reviews, contract administration, and perform load calculations using industry-standard tools. It’s a hands-on role with real impact—and plenty of room to grow.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer with at least four years of local professional experience and a solid track record in delivering projects from start to finish across institutional, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors. You should be registered or eligible for registration with EGBC, and have hands-on experience designing detailed HVAC and plumbing systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a deep understanding of building construction and mechanical systems. Familiarity with the BC Building Code, the National Building Code of Canada, and the BC Plumbing Code is key. Experience using Revit or AutoCAD is a plus, and knowledge of building energy modeling tools like IES VE or RETScreen would be a great asset.
What You’ll Get in Return:
Enjoy three weeks of vacation, full health and dental coverage, a wellness program, and a Health Care Spending Account. The company also offers RRSP matching, continuing education support, and a parental leave top-up. With a central office location, corporate discounts, and regular team events, you’ll feel supported both professionally and personally. Salary range: $100K–$140K.
