  • Conduct regular reviews of project time entries and assist in resolving timesheet discrepancies.
  • Lead the implementation of earned value management (EVM) on projects, including tracking performance indices, variance analysis, and forecasting estimate at completion (EAC).
  • Lead the preparation of internal and client-facing reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
  • Assist with resource loading and forecasting across active and proposed projects to optimize team utilization.
  • Monitor actual resource usage against planned allocations and highlight discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the setup and refinement of project controls tools, processes, and standards as part of a growing and evolving function to ensure consistency across the organization.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Post-secondary education in Project Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience in project controls, project coordination, or financial analyst role is an asset.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (BST10 experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of project control principles such as budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and earned value analysis is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Able to engage in respectful but firm conversations to ensure project integrity.

What’s in it for you?

We believe that a happy and fulfilled team leads to exceptional results, which is why we offer a range of perks designed to support your well-being, career growth and community engagement.

  • Work schedule and location are flexible, allowing for better work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes extended health and dental coverage, a healthcare spending account, and RRSP matching.
  • Employee Assistance Program for team members and their families.
  • A culture of respect and inclusivity fosters long term relationships and a team atmosphere.
  • Professional development and growth opportunities (e.g. New and Young Worker Mentorship program).
  • Team Member Referral Program.
  • A paid “Volunteer Day” away from work to support the community.
  • Monthly “Lunch & Learn” sessions.
  • Opportunities to bond with other team members, have fun and make a difference through involvement in social and safety committees, as well as fundraising and community support initiatives (e.g. Movember, Pi Day, Food Banks, Women’s Shelters, Ronald McDonald House, Earth Day clean ups, etc.).
