Currently seeking a Production Manager for a leading high-quality packaging manufacturer in the Greater Hamilton Area.  Their commitment to safety, sustainability, and delivering high-quality products, drives their operational excellence to be at the forefront of their industry. Compensation

  • $125,000 – $135,000

Position Description

The ideal candidate brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership within the production environment, combined with the proven ability to guide and nurture a diverse team of production personnel.  The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. This includes managing a team of production personnel, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced production setting, using their leadership and coaching abilities to motivate and develop their team.

Experience

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor.
  • Ensure safety and efficiency of all production processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of production personnel.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures to meet company standards and objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departmental managers to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Continuously monitor and report on production performance and progress.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience within a print or packaging environment is required.
  • 5 years of experience in a managerial role is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a strong emphasis on coaching and development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
