Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments-especially where goals, roles, or requirements may not be fully defined at the start. If you're someone who can quickly make sense of ambiguity, bring clarity, and keep stakeholders informed and aligned, this could be a great fit.

This role involves managing a cross-functional project related to cookie tracking and governance, with an emphasis on investigation, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication. You'll also contribute to operational improvements and process changes, so a hands-on, detail-oriented approach is key.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage communications with a diverse range of stakeholders-answering questions, clarifying goals, and defining responsibilities to maintain alignment and engagement

• Lead cookie investigation and analysis (identify new/existing cookies, determine ownership, define usage), working closely with the Business Analyst team

• Create and maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and presentations to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing

• Adapt to changes in scope or timeline, manage approval processes, and communicate updates clearly to avoid confusion and maintain momentum

• Prepare regular project updates and reports for upper management, including progress, risks, and key decisions

• Foster a collaborative environment by ensuring all project members have access to relevant information

• Ensure compliance with internal project management standards and promote best practices across the team

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager

• Experience working in a bilingual (Japanese/English) business environment

• Strong understanding of project management tools, methodologies, and practices

• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and proactively solve problems

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate conflicting opinions and find balanced solutions

• High attention to detail and accuracy in both written and verbal communication

Language Requirements

• Fluency in both Japanese and English

  • Able to lead meetings and facilitate discussions in both languages

  • Comfortable writing reports, documentation, and presenting updates in English and Japanese

  • Experience communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels in both languages
