Project Overview & Scope

1. This role will support various ServiceNow modules with a focus on development and automation. The developer will collaborate cross-functionally across system analysts, engineering teams, and process owners to build tools supporting best practices. They’ll also be engaging stakeholders for requirement confirmation, testing, and delivery within an Agile environment (sprint ceremonies, stand-ups, grooming, Jira updates).

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop in ServiceNow (multiple modules including change, incident, etc.)
• Automate workflows and improve platform capabilities
• Interface with Process Management team (8–10 members)
• Work with internal business stakeholders on integrations and enhancements
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming, retros, etc.

Team & Work Environment

• Team Size: ~10 (analysts, developers, engineers)
• Cross-functional collaboration is key
• Culture: Blend of heads-down development and collaborative touchpoints
• Strong communication and initiative are essential

Must-Have Skills:

• ServiceNow development experience (core requirement)
• Scripting knowledge (JavaScript preferred)
• Automation within
• HTML experience
• PowerShell (nice to have)
• Basic infrastructure understanding (hardware, databases, etc.)
• Preferred Certifications:
• ServiceNow certification
• Scrum certification
• Soft Skills / Personality Fit
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive problem solver
• Curious and motivated to build real solutions (not just code)
• Takes ownership and moves work forward independently

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5–7+ years’ experience in software development (heavy focus on ServiceNow)
• Proven experience in automation projects within ServiceNow
• Not looking for Business Analysts with light dev exposure—this is a true dev role
• Industry experience not critical—diverse backgrounds welcome
