About the Company:

A well-established and reputable general contractor specializing in Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) construction is seeking a skilled Site Superintendent with specific experience managing healthcare-related projects . Position Summary:

The Site Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities for ICI projects, with a strong emphasis on healthcare environments such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. The role requires deep knowledge of IPAC protocols , an ability to manage projects in occupied spaces , and exceptional leadership skills to drive successful delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and construction activities to ensure project goals are met on time and on budget.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site workers, and vendors to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Enforce strict compliance with all health & safety regulations , including infection prevention and control (IPAC) guidelines in active healthcare environments.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with Project Managers, consultants, and clients.
• Conduct regular site meetings, manage documentation, and provide daily progress reports.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimize disruptions and delays.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction .
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare project experience (e.g., hospitals, medical clinics, long-term care facilities).
• Strong working knowledge of IPAC standards and best practices in live healthcare environments.
• Experience delivering projects in occupied buildings with minimal disruption to operations.
• Skilled in managing multiple trades and coordinating detailed construction schedules.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel to job sites.
