What you’ll do

You will have ownership and accountability for identifying and attracting the best talent to our Go-To-Market (GTM) and Customer First teams in Tokyo, Japan. You will have ownership of our candidate experience and relationships, working in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers to build diverse shortlists of candidates using all available sourcing channels, both proactive and reactive. 

Key Accountabilities

• Partner with talent acquisition leadership, recruiters, and hiring managers to understand annual hiring plans and challenges to continuously build talent communities
• Partner with our Talent Marketing Manager to develop a strategy for how we will build talent pools and keep them regularly engaged with Okta
• Engage the technology talent market as an ambassador for Okta and incubate talent through ongoing engagement activities
• Take complete ownership to build diverse shortlists for roles you work on through a combination of proactive research and inbound applicant management
• Provide data-driven insights and proactive recommendations to your business stakeholders and talent acquisition leadership to continually evolve how we attract and hire talent

What you’ll bring to the role

• A strong alignment to and demonstration of our values: Love Our Customers, Always Secure Always On, Build and Own It, Drive What’s Next
• The equivalent of 4+ years of experience in talent sourcing with a track record of building talent pipelines and communities within the GTM and Customer First space.
• A strong understanding of market trends in Tokyo, especially in the GTM space.
• High proficiency in using common and uncommon sourcing tools and tactics beyond just the most popular tools
• A strong understanding of how to market to and attract the best GTM talent to an enterprise SaaS organisation in Japan.

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! 

• Experience incorporating the ethical use of Generative AI in Talent Acquisition
• Experience within the Cybersecurity or Identity Management space
