オペレーション技術開発統括本部 ロボティクスチームの （Technology Research and Development）コントロールソフトウエア技術開発エンジニアはAmazonのMissionである「地球上で最も豊富なセレクション」「地球で最もお客様を大切にする企業である」を実現するために、日本にあるアマゾンFulfillment Center（FC:物流センター）の更なる生産性向上のためのソフトウエア改善や新たな技術の導入、さらに進化した新規FC拠点の構築を行いお客様により良いサービスを提供します。
技術開発チームは、米国本社を含む関連部門と連携してデバイスのオートメーションやロボティクス制御ロジック技術を研究開発し、アマゾンにおけるプロセス技術の進化を実現します。特にFCで使われるデバイスやロボティクスのソフトウエアの生成AIなどを使った開発やソフトウエア改善により、効率化・低コスト化を図ります。このポジションではGlobalな環境の中で全く新しい発想でFCデバイス及びロボティクス制御ロジック技術の設計開発を行い、Amazonにおけるデバイスシステム制御及びプロセス技術開発を担当します。米国本社及びEUの開発部門や日本国内の関連部門（サプライチェーン、オペレーション、ファイナンス、購買等の社内、および外部パートナーの方）との協業や変化するビジネスに対し柔軟性を持って対応し確実にソリューションを提供して行きます。さらに開発においては、Amazon米国本社やその他の国と連携してProjectを進めることになりますので、グローバルコミュニケーション力を発揮して頂きます。
担当する業務内容は、以下になります。
The Control Software Technology Development Engineer in the Robotics Team of the Operations Technology Development Headquarters (Technology Research and Development) works to achieve Amazon's Mission of being "Earth's most extensive selection" and "Earth's most customer-centric company" by improving software and introducing new technologies to enhance productivity at Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs) in Japan, as well as building advanced new FC locations to provide better service to customers.
The technology development team collaborates with related departments, including US headquarters, to research and develop device automation and robotics control logic technology, advancing Amazon's process technology. Specifically, we focus on developing and improving software using Generative AI for devices and robotics used in FCs to achieve greater efficiency and cost reduction. In this position, you will design and develop FC device and robotics control logic technology with completely new concepts in a global environment, leading Amazon's device system control and process technology development. You will work with US headquarters, EU development departments, and domestic related departments (internal teams such as supply chain, operations, finance, purchasing, and external partners), responding flexibly to changing business needs while delivering reliable solutions. Furthermore, as projects will be conducted in collaboration with Amazon US headquarters and other countries, you will demonstrate global communication skills in leading these initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
（１） コントロールソフトウエア技術の開発 : 将来または現在のFCソフトウエアをリサーチ及び解析し、イノベイティブなデバイスやロボティクスソリューションをソフトウエアまたはファームウエアによりAmazon FCに実装いたします。先進のデバイス制御ロジックの構築により、スムーズなAmazonのFC デバイスやロボティクスの開発を実装します。
（２） 将来のFCオートメーション及びロボティクスコンセプトの創造：このエンジニアは将来の革新性のあるFCオートメーションとロボティクスのコンセプトを生成AIを利用してソフトウエアやファームウエアを開発します。このエンジニアはコントロールシステムソフトウエアをFCへ実装します。
（３） パートナーエンゲージメント: このエンジニアはAmazonのデバイスとロボティクスを含むソフトウエアを実現する為、外部パートナーとエンゲージするリーダースキルを必要とします。制御ソフトウエア開発プロジェクトをベンダーパートナと推進し効果的で高い可用性のあるシステムを実現します。
（４） グローバルエンゲージメント：このポジションでは、米国本社及びカナダの開発チームとの連携を強く行い、制御技術のグローバル標準化をリーダーとして進めます。日本からのFeedbackを適切に行い、標準化に組み込みます。また、米国本社の新しいアーキテクチュアを、日本に取り入れFCのデバイスの効率化を最大化します。
(1) Control Software Technology Development: Research and analyze current and future FC software to implement innovative device and robotics solutions in Amazon FCs through software or firmware. Achieve the smooth development and implementation of Amazon's FC devices and robotics by building advanced device control logic.
(2) Creation of Future FC Automation and Robotics Concepts: This engineer will realize innovative future FC automation and robotics concepts through software and firmware development using Generative AI. This engineer takes a role of control system software in FCs.
(3) Partner Engagement: This engineer requires leadership skills to engage with external partners to realize software including Amazon's devices and robotics. They will advance control software development projects with vendor partners to achieve effective systems with high availability.
(4) Global Engagement: This position involves strong collaboration with development teams at US headquarters and Canada, leading the global standardization of control technology. The engineer will provide appropriate feedback from Japan and incorporate it into standardization efforts. Additionally, they will take a role of in adopting new architectures from US headquarters to maximize FC device efficiency in Japan.

Demonstrate and improve Amazon's device control productivity/efficiency and enhance customer experience through the implementation of automation systems.
２ 20% Amazonのロボティクスやオートメーションのロジックシステム制御をグローバルの開発チームやソフトウエアエンジニアと組んで実現していただきます。You will work together with global development teams and software engineers to achieve Amazon's robotics and automation logic system control for Amazon fulfillment.
３ 20% 次世代FCのデバイスソフトウエアの生成AIを使ったロジック分析による生産性、効率、スペース効率、投資回収率向上。ロボティクスロジック制御システムソフトウエアの標準化と日本語化を行います。
Take a lead of next generation FC device software logic analysis using Generative AI to improve device productivity, utilization, space efficiency and return of investment. Achieve and support the standardization and Japanese localization of robotics logic control system software.
４ 20%
米国本社、カナダとEUなどの開発チームとの連携による共同研究開発業務を推進します。
Take a role of research and development work engaging with US Amazon corporation, Canada and EU Development team and its engineers.
５ 10% 開発業務プロセスにおける技術パートナーマネージメント及び技術プロジェクトマネージメントしてパートナーとのビジネスを作っていきます。
Take a role of technical partner management and technical project management in the development process to build business relationships with partners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
