Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and collaboration with managers to identify critical skill gaps and learning opportunities across the organization.
- Design and develop innovative and effective training programs, including curricula, e-learning modules, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and job aids.
- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for diverse audiences, adapting instructional style to meet the needs of learners from all walks of life.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to arrange specialized training sessions when necessary, ensuring the highest quality of instruction.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, post-training assessments, and key performance metrics to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) from various departments to ensure the technical accuracy and relevance of all training content.
- Maintain meticulous training records, manage the Learning Management System (LMS), and monitor ongoing certification and licensing requirements for employees.
- Play a key role in the development and delivery of onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture.
- Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and corporate training to keep our programs fresh and effective.-
- Act as a trusted Human Resources partner, providing coaching and support to managers and employees on development-related matters.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Adult Education, Human Resources, Business, or another related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a corporate training role, ideally as a Training Specialist or similar.
- Demonstrated experience with the full training cycle, including needs analysis, content creation, delivery, and evaluation.
- Direct experience or strong familiarity with the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Proven success in training diverse groups of employees with varying skill levels and backgrounds.
- Ability and willingness to travel within Canada approximately twice per year.
