Tokyo Academics is the passion project of a constellation of teachers, researchers, and academics from around the world. Since 2012, we’ve evolved from a few university friends to a growing number of part-time and full-time individuals located in Tokyo, as well as working remotely. We are an organization of experts deeply passionate about helping students meet their potential and capture the opportunities of the future.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic, positive individual to help maintain the office environment for students, parents, and tutors. This role will be working onsite at our office in Nishiazabu, from Saturday to Wednesday, schedule is flexible, but ideally from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM JST.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company of 150+ team members around the world. You will play a significant role in helping the organization by providing smooth daily operations within the office and ensuring we provide world class customer care to our clients.

What you will work on:

  • Daily calendar management
  • Customer service tasks related to scheduling and customer reception
  • Basic IT maintenance, such as maintenance of office printers and security equipment (cameras, smart locks, etc.)
  • Point of contact for facilities maintenance including cleaning services, work orders, and building access
  • Tidying, cleaning, and organizing office spaces
  • Office mail & package delivery signing and distribution
  • Office space organization & maintenance
  • Office supplies inventory and organization
  • Other tasks as requested by management
