About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly capable (Senior) Project Manager to join an internal consulting team that supports strategic initiatives across multiple business units within a major global automotive group.

In this role, you will act as the key liaison between cross-functional stakeholders-coordinating between internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth communication, efficient execution, and delivery of high-impact projects. Your ability to manage complex initiatives with precision will be essential to driving success across diverse business areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage multiple projects across various business units

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget

• Act as the communication bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders

• Identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure issues are resolved promptly

• Track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques

• Maintain high standards of project documentation, reporting, and quality assurance

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in consulting, automotive, or tech-related environments

• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, with experience in scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving ability and a detail-oriented mindset

• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus
