Do you want to make contributions that accelerate the readiness of the nation’s defenses to deploy next generation hypersonic missiles, ballistic missiles, and reentry systems for both surface and undersea platforms?
Are you passionate about engaging with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and senior leaders both within and outside of our organization, and program sponsors to build relationships and bring collaborative solutions to problems?
If so, we are looking for someone like you to join our team at APL!
We are seeking a creative Senior Missile Avionics Engineer with broad electrical and embedded design experience to engage with the community on challenges in building next generation missile systems. Together, with our team of embedded and electrical designers, you will influence the design of crucial strategic missile systems from early concept to detailed design and beyond. Your primary engagements will be with the Strategic Systems Program community, but you will also have opportunities to interact with members of the Air Force and Army missile avionics programs. You will be supported by an engaged team that spans multiple engineering subject areas, from algorithms to custom hardware design, prototypes that demand high reliability for flight-qualified design, as well as others that require flexibility and agile development practices.
