The Team & Mission:

The Ads Mobile Team is responsible for treating Ads as a meaningful content to the users and gracefully merging the Ads into the news feed.

As an iOS engineer, we expect you to drive the ads development of our iOS App. More specifically, we expect you to understand the third-party Ads SDKs and the internal Ads APIs to design and implement the client-server architecture of Ads content. These tasks include: deciding how Ads/News are merged, deciding the caching strategy and leading our external partners and internal backend counterparts to design their interfaces.

• Utilize third-party Ad SDKs such as Google Ads Manager to serve third-party Ads
• Design and implement the client-server architecture of our in-house Ads demands
• Work together with Product Managers to improve the Ad experiences and performance
• Support Data Scientists to collect data and make data-driven decisions

Requirements

Required Experience

• Follow iOS best practices to build a performant App
• Utilize third-party Ad SDKs such as Google Ads Manager to serve third-party Ads
• Design and implement the client-server architecture of our in-house Ads demands
• Work together with Product Managers to improve the Ad experiences and performance
• Support Data Scientists to collect data and make data-driven decisions

Nice to Have Experience

• 2 years active iOS development experience for a large scale user base app
• Experience designing a new feature from scratch 
• Problem Solving skills to self-serve finding the deliverables of assigned task
• Proven track of making decisions in a data-driven way
